Getting a repository instance from the interface extension designer

Extensions are invoked by Meridian Enterprise client applications. These client applications will manage the connection to the server. The instance of AMDocumentRepository that is created by the client application is available to the extension as the Repository property of the interface extension designer object.

This repository instance has been opened (transaction started) for the operation that activated the extension. This repository instance will be closed (transaction committed or revoked) after the operation has completed or is terminated. If the functionality of the extension requires a separate transaction, the Clone method can be used.
